On Halloween night NYC held its annual Village Halloween Parade. There really is nothing else like it! I took a ton of pics that night.
The artist Andy Golub, whose work I showed in my last post, was at it again for the parade.
He was there with the "tools of his trade" ...
and his self-painted vehicles.
I got some pics of his fantastic work as they were preparing for the parade, but didn't stick around for the whole process because I had to go stake out a good viewing spot for the parade. Also, although I thoroughly enjoyed his artistic work, I didn't like the vibe this time around. Last time the overall vibe, at least to me, was more artistic and about showing how beauty comes in a multitude of forms. This time around there seemed to be less artistically-minded people present and too much gawking just for gawking's sake. This time around the cops didn't try to stop him from painting, but instead were taking pictures with their cell phones.
I caught this photographer in the middle of such a funny facial expression.
This model looks so much like the singer Monica to me.
Totally bad shot of them in the actual parade. Sorry.
That's it for now until I am finished with the rest of the Halloween Parade pics. :)
